This week, we have started the 8th Edition of Gfi Academy, created to accelerate young graduates’ career within the tech sector.

In just a few years, cybercrime has exploded. "It has become a real economy, with its professions, its experts and its calls for tenders... "Smart City is not about technology, but about people"

The Project 'Smart Sity's Trip: A Journey through Innovation in Europe', organized by Sorbonne students, is part of the master's degree program and aims to study the main challenges in the innovation and modernization of European cities. To cover a coherent spectrum of study, this project was divided in two parts: the first one, with a visit to two Northern European Cities – Copenhagen (Denmark) and Malmö (Sweden) –, and the second, to Southern Europe – Lisbon, Cascais and Porto (Portugal).

With great commitment and determination, Alexandra Lamas, Service Supervisor at Gfi Portugal, took home two gold medals at the European Masters Athletics Championships Stadia, held in Denmark (July 27 - August 6).

Gfi and TCS have jointly developed a proof of concept for the city of Belfort, France to improve bus transportation using TCS' Intelligent Urban Exchange software.
